LAPIS CAKE / LAYER CAKE

HOW TO MAKE A LAYER CAKE


This cake is usually made ​​up of two color layers, that gives the name of this cake. This cake is made ​​of rice flour, starch, milk, sugar, salt and dyes. This cake is steamed each layer before the layer above it added. This cake is mostly found in areas of Indonesia.

ingredients:

400 ml coconut milk from half coconut
175 g tapioca starch
1/2 tbsp rice flour
100 g sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pandan paste

How to make:

1. Mix tapioca flour, rice flour, sugar, and salt. Stir well and set aside.
2. Cook the coconut milk to a boil, remove from heat, allow it to warm.
3. Enter the flour mixture and stir until smooth.
4. Divide the dough into 2 parts. One section give pandan paste and stir well. While one part again let white.
5. For green and white batter each into 2 parts.
6. Prepare a baking pan 20x10x7 cm ukurang topical dialas vegetable oil and plastic.
7. Heat the pan in the steamer, pour one part green dough. Steam for 10 minutes.
8. Pour one part white dough, steamed for 10 minutes.
9. Pour remaining batter green, steam for 10 minutes.
10. Pour remaining batter again white, steamed for 15 minutes until completely cooked.
11. Remove, let cool, remove from pan, cut into wedges and serve.
